For developed property management there was 1 property owner billing protest, which required 240 minutes of program time, and 4 property descriptions retrieved, which required 80 minutes of program time. Added together, these abatement related activities required 320 minutes, or 5.33 hours of the Vegetation Manager's time. When multiplied by the Vegetation Manager's wage and benefit rate of $17.29 per hour this equates to $92.16 worth of personal services spent on these activities. Divided by the 22 full term developed property abatements performed by the City in 1989 we get an additional $4.19 to be added to the documented activity cost per developed property abatement. Added to the $70.19 from the above table gives a total activity cost of $74.38 for each developed property abatement.
