ACTIVITY COSTS PER FULL TERM ABATEMENT <br />The following 3 tables will document the operations activity time and material <br />costs for a typical full term abatement in each of the program's 3 management <br />categories. These costs do not include the contractor's charges billed to the <br />City, nor any overhead or administrative costs, and should not be considered <br />as a final owner billed amount. The costs derived from these tables are for <br />the various abatement activities (taken directly from the activity time matrix <br />of Table I) and any vehicle and equipment usage based on an hourly rate. The <br />time spent on answering property owner's billing protests, the time spent in <br />retrieving property descriptions for filing nonpayment liens, and the time <br />spent in sending courtesy notifications to undeveloped property owners (where <br />the City ended up abating such property anyway) all generate costs that must <br />be considered as part of the full term abatement process.
