HAMMITT Bob
From:
FOERSTLER Kevin J
To:
HAMMITT Bob
Subject:
RE: Vegetation Problem
Date:
Tuesday, June 04, 1996 7:26AM
Bob, we reinspected this site on Monday, June 3rd., and found that the property owner (Dean Miller) at 11
N. Adams has not cut back the vegetation from the sidewalk. We have posted the property for abatement.
Code requires 10 days until we can send in a contractor to correct. -Kevin
From: HAMMITT Bob
To: FOERSTLER Kevin J
Subject: RE: Vegetation Problem
Date: Thursday, May 23, 1996 5:46AM
Just let me know if prop owner deals with it and when or if we
have to post for abatement.
Thanks „Bob
From: FOERSTLER Kevin J
To: HAMMITT Bob
Cc: MEDLIN Johnny R; PLAMONDON Scott F
Subject: RE: Vegetation Problem
Date: Wednesday, May 22, 1996 4:37PM
Bob, as I mentioned on the phone, we had already been alerted
to this issue by our sidewalk inspector on 5/20/96. A letter
to correct this matter was sent on 5/21/96 to the property
owner at 11 N. Adams St. After 10 days, we will reinspect the
property for compliance and post for abatement, if not
corrected. Please let me know if you need any additional
information regarding this issue. -Kevin
From: JENNINGS Carrie A
To: FOERSTLER Kevin J
Cc: MEDLIN Johnny R; PLAMONDON Scott F
Subject: Vegetation Problem
Date: Wednesday, May 22, 1996 2:02PM
FROM: Bob Hammitt
Scott Meisner, who I believe is our new City Councilor,
contacted Terry Smith regarding a vegetation problem at the NE
corner of Adams and Clark. Apparently ivy has grown onto, or
across, the sidewalk, causing a local disabled resident in
wheelchair significant problems. Please take the appropriate
action and keep me posted as progress is made.
Page 1
