Is an obstruction of drainage facilities in the public way <br />includincr but not limited to roadside ditches street curbs and gutters <br />catchbasins and culverts. <br />(j) Vision obstructions Any vegetation, structure, mounding of earth <br />or other physical obstruction: <br />1. Which encroaches upon the vision clearance area defined in <br />subsection 9.538(6) of this code; or <br />2. Which is higher than 18 inches above the crown of the adjacent <br />roadway in that portion of the right of way between the property line <br />and the curb line within 35 feet from the intersection of curb lines, if <br />extended, at any street intersection or within 15 feet from the <br />intersection of the curb line with an alley. If no curb exists, no such <br />use of the right of way shall be made within 25 feet of the corner of <br />the private property closest to the street intersection. <br />6.815 Obnoxious Vegetation - Definitions Prohibitions <br />Abatement <br />(1) As used in sections 6.815 to 6.845, the term "obnoxious <br />vegetation" includes: <br />(a) Weeds more than 10 inches high. <br />(d) Blackberry vines or vegetation that: <br />2. Extends into a public way or a pathway frequented by children; <br />3. Extends across a property line; or <br />(e) Vegetation which is a vision obstruction as defined in <br />section 6 . 010 (j) . <br />(2) Except as section 6.820 provides to the contrary, between <br />June 15 and September 30 of each year no owner or person in charge of <br />undeveloped property may allow obnoxious vegetation to be on the <br />property or in the public water abutting the property Obnoxious <br />vegetation so located is a public nuisance. <br />
