I <br />News Release -- Vegetation Program <br />April 1, 1988 <br />Page 2 <br />Medlin said the city charges $75 an hour, with a $75 minimum charge. <br />A property owner can usually hire a contractor for half the city's cost <br />because they do not have the overhead expenses, Medlin explained. <br />Medlin also said property owners are often not aware they are also <br />responsible for controlling the vegetation within the right -of -way abutting <br />their property.
