Mr. Sullivan and Mr. Hellesvig observed that plans for water generated from
springs under the proposed excavation stockpiles were a concern.
Mr. Elder was identified as the person responsible to be the point - person for
application submissions.
In response to questions from Mr. Strecker, Mr. Riojas described design plans
for the roofs of buildings to be constructed in the project. He said that
only inert materials were to be included and that no consideration was being
given to rooftop storage of runoff water. He said that further information
would be provided to the City.
Mr. Alverson raised concerns about hydrographs comparing existing watershed
basins and those proposed to be developed in the project in material provided
by Mr. McGuire. Mr. McGuire stated that they were first - attempts and would be
more accurately refined in final submissions. Mr. Strecker commented that he
was surprised with the concurrence of hydrographs for the the two basins. Mr.
Lyle referred to drainage and flood control plans required for the issuance of
a City building permit outlined in the material provided. Ms. Cahill sug-
gested that additional storm conditions be added to parameters used in hydro
graphs. Mr. Sabin commented that the current basin is significantly affected
by previous agricultural disturbance.
3. Operation and Maintenance
Mr. McGuire stated that operation and maintenance design considerations had
not yet been developed.
Mr. Lyle stated that discharge into the sanitary sewer system was of signifi-
cant concern to the City.
Mr. Sabin stated that only pre- treated water generated by the plant could be
reused were being studied. He said that DEQ would not permit process water to
be put into a stormwater system.
Mr. Sullivan stated that it would be helpful if an application for a waste-
water system permit were submitted.
Mr. Sabin reported that the DEQ had agreed to allow the City to determine the
acceptability of the storm water management plan and collection system for the
project.
MINUTES -- Hyundai- Willow Creek October 26, 1995 Page 6
Drainage Pre - Design Meeting
