Ms. Jones said the next outreach subcommittee meeting would take place the following Thursday. <br />d. Signage <br />Ms. Ullmann said the chair for signage was on hiatus. She urged members to consider joining the signage <br />subcommittee. <br />VII. NOMINATION OF CHAIR <br />Ms. Ullmann said she had not yet received any nominations for Chair of the committee. She said she believed <br />she would remain as Chair person until December 31. <br />The duties of the chair were described from the bylaws as follows: <br />• Facilitate Committee meetings <br />• Serve as contact for the media <br />• Advise staff on meeting agendas <br />• Serve as committee spokes person <br />• Serve as a mediator /initiate dispute resolution when necessary for the committee <br />• The Vice Chair shall serve in the absence of the chair or provide greater assistance at the request <br />of the Chair <br />Nomination of the Chair was postponed until the next meeting. <br />VIII. OLD BUSINESS <br />Ms. Ullmann noted that there had been a request to table the vote on the recommendation regarding the <br />Whilamut river crossing near Autzen Stadium until the next meeting. <br />IX. NEW BUSINESS <br />There was no discussion of new business. <br />X. SET NEXT MEETING DATE <br />The next meeting was scheduled for January 11, 2006 at 6pm. <br />XI.
