TDM Mitigation Account <br />University and City recognize that the TDM Plan and monitoring need to be successful and that <br />an on -going problem - solving approach is likely to be the best method for success. University <br />and City also recognize that it may be necessary for University to provide additional funds for <br />effective problem solving, over and above the funds to be provided by University to pay costs <br />and expenses as described elsewhere in this IGA. Toward that end, University will fund a <br />$110,000 TDM Mitigation Account with $10,000 at the execution of the IGA and an additional <br />$20,000 in each of the next five years. Sums in the TDM Mitigation Account will be disbursed <br />to pay for monitoring or mitigation efforts under the IGA when approved by the City Manager <br />and the University Vice President for Administration. Any sums (principal and/or interest, if <br />any) remaining in the TDM Mitigation Account after the 2007 event -year shall be released to <br />University. <br />7. TDM Costs <br />University shall pay for: <br />7.1 Execution of the monitoring programs required by this IGA and the TDM Plan. <br />7.2 All costs related to the design, construction, placement and maintenance of directional and <br />informational signs for stadium parking, automobile traffic control, transit facilities <br />(including off -site park- and -ride), bicycle facilities, and pedestrian facilities necessary to <br />implement the TDM Plan. <br />7.3 All costs related to the design, construction, placement and maintenance of informational <br />signs intended to reduce damage to Alton Baker Park by patrons of Autzen Stadium, to the <br />extent that these signs are not covered by the Sign Plan portion of the TDM Plan. <br />7.4 Reinforcement of turf, with an amended sub -base, in the location(s) identified in the TDM <br />Plan, in a manner and to standards that have been approved in advance by City. <br />7.5 The cost of traffic control for events, including reimbursement to City for the traffic control <br />officers' and public works department employees' time to install and remove temporary <br />direction devices (such as cones), and for police officers and parking control officers <br />needed for Autzen Stadium area traffic control on major stadium event days. <br />7.6 All costs related to the placement and dismantling of fencing enclosing valet bicycle <br />parking areas and temporary bicycle parking areas. <br />INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT - 7 <br />
