3.1 The permit will not violate Section 4 of this rule; <br />3.2 The promoter agrees to designate and rope off the areas where the Public <br />Works Department has indicated parking will be permitted; <br />3.3 The promoter agrees to rope off areas with sensitive vegetation and tree drip <br />lines, designated by the City, in a manner that prohibits parking and agrees to monitor the <br />roped off areas to ensure no vehicles are parking in the area; <br />3.4 The promoter's plan for promotion of alternate modes of transportation to <br />the event provides for appropriate bicycle parking facilities and has been submitted to, and <br />approved by, the Public Works Department; <br />3.5 The promoter agrees to provide adequate debris disposal facilities in areas <br />used for parking, to provide clean -up of the area and to accept liability for any damage to <br />the area; and <br />3.6 The promoter agrees to charge a reasonable parking fee of not less than <br />$3.00 and not more $20.00 per day, for all event parking, including the parking spaces <br />in the areas off improved surfaces, and to pay 75 % of the net revenue generated therefrom <br />to the City. <br />4. Limitation Large events requiring parking off improved surfaces of parklands <br />pursuant to this rule shall be limited to no more than two such events per month for any single <br />park site, and no more than ten such events per year for any single park site. Permits for events <br />shall be allowed on a first come, first serve basis. Such events shall also be limited to times and <br />locations where parking off improved surfaces is not likely to cause damage due to the wetness <br />of the ground. <br />5. Waiver The requirement to charge and/or pay the parking fee required under <br />Subsection 3.6 above to the City may be waived by the City's Parks Operation Manager for those <br />events that are scheduled for a duration of one day only, providing the promoter is in compliance <br />with other provisions of this rule. <br />Dated and effective this //) day of , 1995. <br />Administrative Order - 3 <br />
