An athletic field will be constructed just to the north and west of the community center at SHS <br /> and just to the north of the track at SEHS. The youth sports complex components will be <br /> constructed on the CHS/Kennedy MS campus, in the NW corner of the Cal Young MS campus <br /> and on the SHS campus. The City will provide 4J with a permanent easement, right -of -use, or <br /> outright ownership of any City property to the north of the Sheldon Community Center which is <br /> necessary for the complex at SHS. <br /> Length of Agreement. This agreement shall be in effect for 10 years with at least two automatic <br /> 10 -year renewals. It is the intent of the drafters and signers of this agreement that the agreement <br /> be reviewed and updated by the City and District every 10 years. <br /> Ownership. The facilities will be owned by 4J, with a long term use agreement with the City as <br /> governed by this agreement and (with the advice of the) User Committee. <br /> Initial Investment. The City's initial investment in the project will be approximately $4 million, <br /> to cover construction, design, permitting, fees, testing, construction administration, and related • costs. "_;, ., • •• •, ;.••.u••rw.v:.M <br /> The District's initial investment in the project will be approximately $3.5 million plus $0 to <br /> $1.1+ million in cash, materials, or labor donations plus project and financial management. <br /> Schedule and Users. Initial use by the Community and the District will be governed by the <br /> attached matrix. Times reserved for the District, but not used by the District,t: 1-be made <br /> available to the C9mmunity. Policy changes in terms of schedule will <br /> require the review and approval of the User Committee. There will be no rental <br /> rate charged for the use of the recreational use of the outdoor basketball courts, tennis courts, <br /> picnic areas, skate board parks.
