Date: 02/19/93
From: Johnny Medlin CEWMJRM - RIS1
To: Linda Norris CEEXLHN - RIS1
Subject: Golden Gardens
Reference: Your note of 02/19/93 12:49 attached below
Linda, sorry that I wasn't clear on that. Where we stand now is that we
are in agreement with the appraiser under the instructions he was given
by the developer. (Appraised in "as is" use.) What we are not in agree-
ment with is that "as is" instruction.
Instead of asking them to go back and reappraise, Ken Doud recommended
we negeotiate for equal value acre of land to acre of water. That is what
we did and what they have not responded to yet. Both the appraiser and Ken
Doud felt asking for a reappraisal based on the proposed use would be very
difficult and more guesswork than the cost would be worth at this point in
time. So...the ball is in their court and we are waiting for them to pass
it back!! Thanks
Johnny
ATTACHED NOTE
Date: 02/19/93
From: Linda Norris CEEXLHN - RIS1
To: Johnny Medlin CEWMJRM - RIS1
Subject: Golden Gardens
Johnny, thanks for your note. The other piece of information I need
is where we are with the appraisal. Did you decide not to meet with
the appraiser until the owners decide what they want to do? Thanks,
Linda
