• <br /> Additional Regulations and Guidelines for Special Use Permits <br /> Event organizers may be required to pay additional fees and /or perform additional <br /> responsibilities when applying for a special use permit. <br /> 1. Security and Traffic Control - Event organizers may be required to provide <br /> security and traffic control depending on the type of event and the number of <br /> expected participants and spectators. <br /> 2. Restrooms - If there are not enough on -site restrooms, portable restrooms must <br /> be provided and removed at the expense of the event organizer. Organizers must <br /> supply portable restrooms for people with disabilities. Location of portables must <br /> be approved by the City. <br /> 3. Signage - Event organizers are allowed to place signage that recognizes <br /> corporate support for an organized event. Signs must comply with City of Eugene <br /> and Eugene School District 4J sign requirements. No signs will be permitted that <br /> advertise alcohol, tobacco, or other activities that are inappropriate for school <br /> sites. <br /> 4. Event Schedule and Site Plan - Special event organizers may be required to <br /> provide an event schedule and site plan (clean -up, supervision, layout, etc.) prior <br /> to approval. <br /> 5. Concessions and Ticket Receipts - Eugene School District 4J receives 20% of <br /> all gross concession and ticket receipts from all general rentals (does not apply to <br /> approved youth user groups and City of Eugene- sponsored activities September, <br /> 2000 through November, 2000). Special event permit holders may contract with <br /> food and other vendors as part of their scheduled event, only with written <br /> permission from the City of Eugene. Existing vending contracts will supersede the <br /> organizer's permit. <br /> -4 <br />
