Take it Outside, Hands on the Land, and the Youth Conservation Corps initiative. <br /> Serves as the Youth Conservation Corps program principal point of contact for the <br /> Eugene District. Develop funding proposals for youth corps/capacity building projects <br /> for the Eugene District. If a Youth Conservation Corps (YCC) is established, provide <br /> Eugene District program management for the YCC. <br /> • Serve as principal point of contact for these three initiatives. Share information <br /> with the CLT about potential funding opportunities. <br /> • Work with recreation and district staff where appropriate, if opportunities are <br /> provided to use the YCC. <br /> Direction: <br /> This position will report to the Eugene District office site in Springfield, Oregon. An <br /> office space has been established in the Siuslaw Resource Area. The move -in date for <br /> the office space is no later than January 22, 2010. While assigned to the 120 day detail <br /> all procedures that pertain to the District Office will be used. The In /Out board will be <br /> used. Transportation for meeting attendance will be with the use of government <br /> vehicles. Use either a pool vehicle (3 vehicles are designated for meeting use) using the <br /> reservation system icon and checking out a vehicle or use a vehicle from the Siuslaw <br /> vehicle keyboard. <br /> All work associated with the West Eugene Wetlands program will be the responsibility of <br /> the supervisor, Chuck Fairchild. The supervisor is responsible for all assignments of <br /> work associated with the programs under his direction, including the West Eugene <br /> Wetlands. <br />
