Since the original bid for Ascot and Graham was a low bid, $30,000 less than
the next bidder, we can assume the Shasta bid is also a low bid by its com-
parison to existing prices. Musco Lighting has commented that this bid is a
very good (low) bid. Musco is also offering an excellent material price to
change to Shasta.
CONCLUSION
We are being offered an excellent price to revise our existing contract from
lighting Ascot Ballfield to lighting Shasta Ballfield. We can expect that
rebidding the project would cost around $15,000 due to having to take deliv-
ery of Ascot lights and then incur return shipping and labor to revise them
for whatever field we propose. I recommend we make and addition to our ex-
isting contract to light Shasta Ballfield.
