I just think it's totally stupid. We have a large park, and we have numerous schools with playgrounds and we're not that f 40V from the sticks. I see it as a city land grab, actually. We do not need anymore damn traffic out here. It's bad enough. We don't need any damn parks either. The city doesn't take care of the ones they have and who uses them, druggies and criminals. We want it to stay the way that it is out here. We don't need all the traffic and aggravation. River Road can't hold the traffic it has now. We don't need the taxes and we don't need a park. This area can't support that big of a project. The roads aren't built for that much traffic. We really don't need that big of a park. We have enough now. I believe we have school yards where kids can play. It's not for Santa Clara, it's Bethel. The project is more for the developer than the people. Don't want the development and not worried about a park. We already have enough parks. Don't want to see more agricultural land given to building. The city of Eugene is all about annexation. We already have more parks than we need. Enough growth already. Aubrey Park is not used enough as it is. don't want a developer to make money off of a land deal. South Eugene already has plenty of parks. I don't want to be part of Eugene. I think the current parks in Santa Clara are not underserving the current population. Building a housing development would not serve traffic well. The Ridgeline trail is the only mountain bike - accessible trail. 1 don't like moving the boundary line, pressure on infrastructure and schools. The need to upgrade Emerald Park. We would be served adequately with that. We have Aubrey Park which can be expanded and used more. Too much traffic congestion and larger class sizes. fi 97408 No more growth out River Road. There are already enough traffic jams out there. There is enough recreational opportunity and open space out there from the schools and the River Road Park District. School crowding 97401 think that there is absolutely no need to move the boundaries at this point. The Santa Clara area is already a mess and I think need less housing for less devastation to traffic and schools. just think that the amount of houses they want to add is too much. It isn't going to be good for schools or the community to add that many places. The roads and schools can't take the growth the way they are today. The amount of houses seems far out of proportion. Too many houses being proposed. The schools would be too hard hit. No more houses are needed out there, schools are already bursting. 97402 Can't see destroying prime farmland, and the overcrowding of schools. I want to save the wetlands that we have left. The City just wants to add to their tax base. They would find some way of getting money out of taxpayers. Too much sprawl, too fast of growth, too much pressure on the schools and infrastructures, most important, the destruction of farm land.
