TABLE 40V
I've dealt with this before and you can bet the thing is not what they are making it out to be. The boundaries need to be set
and the developer needs to just do without.
People do not have a say and never have. They need to leave the boundary right where it is and develop where they may.
I just would hesitate that the City wifl pull something else on us. (probe) They will charge us a lot more on taxes.
There is nothing in this that will prove to be true. Can't go for it.
Once the boundary is moved, it's not going to stop for this developer. The city has lied about the ro sal and I won't approve
any of this proposal. p pp
I think this just proves that the City can be bought.
£ This is not accurate information. The city govemment is untrustable and that is why I am taking my company and leaving the
area next year.
I just think it's totally stupid. We have a large park, and we have numerous schools with playgrounds and we're not that far
from the sticks. I see it as a city land grab, actually.
I'm opposed to the city encroaching in this area and I feel that they are telling people what to do all the time.
I know where they want to put it, and it is on prime agricultural land. I think the govemment has stuck its nose too deep into
the Santa Clara area already.
I would support it if I know we would get a park and not just some open space and nothing there. I would also disapprove of
developing the south hills and nothing on this end.
I feel they have so much property and parks that they don't maintain. They keep acquiring land and don't do anything with it. It
seems like the city council does what it wants.
I don't trust the city of Eugene. From what I've read the deal isn't as good as it's presented. Just a park would be great. But not
with the development.
The city can't take care of the parks that we have. It sounds like the city council is going to shove it down our throat. The traffic
out here is terrible. I have no idea what they will do with it.
The deal itself stinks. The Streets cannot support that traffic. They waited to buy the property for more money. Residents
COULD but wouldn't have input. If they get the land, they can't take care of it.
Because of what they did to us with the sewers. I wouldn't support the city regarding anything.
This is really about Eugene wanting to get hold of more land.
We don't have the streets for more people. This is probably just another excuse for a land grab.
If it has anything to do with the city of Eugene, I'm against it. We've been fighting annexation for years.
City of Eugene is going to take over everything if we let them
I don't trust anything the city of Eugene does when it comes to building and working with developers. I don't want to be
annexed.
If the city is pushing it, I'm against it. If they have all this money, why not spend it on the needs we have now?
1 don't trust the City of. Eugene and what they're going to do next. Against annexation - they are doing it piecemeal and this is
just another example.
1 don't want the city gobbling up any more land.
