TABLE 40V
The effects of moving the urban growth boundary on farmland, and it being taken away for city purposes.
97405
Because it is financial greed from the developers and it hurts the fanners. Expanding the urban growth into agricultural land is
a detriment to the state.
I think agriculture is more important than having another park - jobs and food are more important than the bottom line.
I don't want agricultural land developed, and I want the urban growth boundary to stay where it is.
I'm reluctant to see the farm land gobbled up to the north, the traffic increase, and we can do with the length of ridgeline trail
we have now.
They are not making more farmland and there is no shortage of ugly sprawl.
don't want the urban growth boundary to be expanded over farm land, and 1 want to see more in -fill happen.
Land trade is involved in building houses on prime agriculture land. No other reason.
Don't trust city
97401
The government shouldn't be able to cause the devastation to families that they do. The property in South Hills can be
developed and that's why they made the boundaries what they are.
97402
I feel we should preserve farm land. They will find some way to try and get more money from taxpayers for something.
Can't see destroying prime farmland, and the overcrowding of schools. I want to save the wetlands that we have left. The City
just wants to add to their tax base.
The city disappoints me. They put too much politics in Eugene. They seem to delight in confusion and I think they want to
increase their tax base.
The roads can't support the traffic that would be generated. Money talks and bullshit walks, the city says something can't be
done but if someone comes up with enough money, it can be. The whole thing sucks.
We have enough parks, the parks we have are not maintained. The city council sits and bullshits on worthless issues. The
mayor only wants to build up downtown.
97403
They set up the boundaries for a reason and now something seems not quite right about all this.
97404
I think making trades on regulations and making loopholes for profit is not acceptable in any way.
The City has lied to us at every turn when these proposals come up and I don't believe them this time. I'd oppose anything
that has to do with the City at this point.
I think that they are pushing the envelope. The City never really follows through with promises it has already made. They will
change it all later.
They, the city, never stick to the codes they set up. The places are ugly and the tax payers pay.
