TABLE 40V
This area can't afford the traffic. 1000 apartments are too much for this area. The roads are too narrow and there's not enough
room for all the traffic.
They are trying to snow us with a park and shove a development down our throat. The traffic can't handle it. No one out here
likes it, and we are opposed to it. It's not worth it.
We do not need any more damn traffic out here. It's bad enough. We don't need any damn parks either. The city doesn't take
care of the ones they have, and who uses them, druggies and criminals.
We want it to stay the way that it is out here. We don't need all the traffic and aggravation. River Road can't hold the traffic it
has now. We don't need the taxes and we don't need a park.
There is enough houses and traffic out in Santa Clara now. I'll bet that before long something will come up and then the city
will find a way to raise more taxes. I can see it coming with this.
I think it's too much stress on the Santa Clara area. If they don't change the school boundary it would be too much on the
school and improvements would have to be made to River Road.
This area can't support that big of a project The roads aren't built for that much traffic. We really don't need that big of a park.
We have enough now.
The city can't take care of the parks that we have. It sounds like the city council is going to shove it down our throat. The traffic
out here is terrible. I have no idea what they will do with it.
Mostly traffic which would affect me a lot, and we need to save the farmland. Oh, and the schools are crowded enough.
It smells like a developer's scheme to me. Sounds like a wheeler dealer deal to me. To me it's a ruse so the developers can
make a buck. We're not idiots. We'd be stupid not to realize the increase in traffic.
I am uncomfortable with the developer's attitude. He the same as said he doesn't care what we think, we don't matter. I don't
think they thought out about how the traffic would be affected. Love farms.
Preservation of the wildlife and wetlands in my area. I don't want anything behind my house. The traffic would increase
dramatically.
I think the whole proposal is asinine. All the McDougals want to do is line their pockets. The proposal isn't any good for
anyone but them. The traffic would be ridiculous. City plan is dangerously crowded.
The deal itself stinks. The streets cannot support that traffic. They waited to buy the property for more money. Residents
COULD but wouldn't have input. If they get the land, they can't take care of it.
River Road is gridlocked and how will you get 2000 more cars on it. Northwest Expressway couldn't handle it either. We have
Class A farmland that isn't to be developed, and they are planning on developing it
I wouldn't want increased traffic, increase school size, and 1 want to preserve the farms.
I think the whole deal was shady. It will increase traffic tremendously, takes up farmland; we don't have enough policing in this
area.
1 want a part but no development. We have enough problems with the traffic and it would be overwhelming. We don't need to
increase.
We don't have the streets for more people. This is probably just another excuse for a land grab.
There's going to be too much traffic - we already live in a disaster area.
Traffic and schools mostly. We don't need any more traffic. How are those people from the 900 homes going to get
anywhere?
We don't need more houses and more congestion and more traffic here.
