TABLE 40V
More things in this area that we need to worry about than parks. The roads to this area are limited and the city can't support it.
The 900 homes. That is at least 1800 more cars, 2700 more people and they need to do something about the traffic now A
park would be great but this area can't support that much of an increase.
If the city has a million to buy parks, why do they want more money, because they can't maintain what they have? This area
doesn't need more houses with the limited amount of roads available.
I don't know that much about it but it sounds like it's going to cost me money one way or another. There would be too much
traffic in an area that already has too much.
It would be a lot of traffic. It just doesn't sound good to me.
We need the money for parks to be put in schools. The roads out here can't handle all the increased traffic.
The roads can't support the traffic that would be generated. Money talks and bullshit walks, the city says something can't be
done, but if someone comes up with enough money, it can be. The whole thing sucks.
Some way will be found to increase taxes. There is enough traffic in this area as it is There are plenty of houses all over the
area for sale without budding more. 3
There are enough houses without adding more. This town can't get it together to manage the traffic. They shouldn't add more
developments until they get the traffic control right.
I think because park money could be better spent. From what 1 have noticed, there are enough parks now There is enough
traffic now in the Santa Clara area and Eugene without adding more
They can't take care of what they have now The area proposed is going to affect the whole Santa Clara area and it can't
support the traffic that is out there now
I don't see how the area can handle that much new traffic in the area when they have trouble with the traffic they have now 1
can't see buying more parkland when we need more important things.
The traffic and the houses in that area They are just building tract homes all over and the prices are outrageous. I don't know
i what to say about all this
E
97404
900 houses. They are crazy if they think the roads or schools will accommodate that
I don't think they need to add to the confusion and traffic problems that we already have in Santa Clara.
The traffic and the decline of agricultural land that would be available.
'
Increase in taxes wouldn't be far behind this
project. The traffic would a hell of a lot worse than it is now
Depends on how the city will be handling the excess traffic from that area. We'll have it backed up from downtown all the way
back to Santa Clara.
River Road can't carry that much more traffic. The whole thing just isn't necessary out here.
I am in favor of the proposal that the Citizens of Santa Clara presented to the city. The area out there can't handle all the
traffic under the city proposal.
I can see taxes all over. This is just a way to raise our taxes. Where are they going to put all the traffic?
I like the idea of a park. It's ok. But they don't need to build more houses. The traffic is truly the pits. We just can't handle any
more traffic.
