TABLE 40V
1 don't trust the developer. I think it is underhanded. It's all about the money. The big guy with lots of money is trying to
manipulate us by seeming to be giving us this park.
I've lived here more than 30 years and matched it grow, this seems like greed, greed, greed and we need sustainable growth.
It has gotten bigger and not gotten better, more traffic, more crime.
They are building houses that are low quality. They should improve what already exists which is in a state of decline. We need
to improve what we have.
There are too many questions unanswered. I like the park idea but I don't like linking it to the development.
They are not making more farmland and there is no shortage of ugly sprawl.
1 don't want the urban growth boundary to be expanded over farm land and 1 want to see more in-fill happen.
I want areas that are not houses. I like parks but I don't like houses.
The developer is trying to get his development okayed by doing that; I don't think he has as much to lose as the city would.
The park is too wrapped up with the development and it seems like a weird arrangement. They should be separate issues.
I'm not in favor of lining the pockets of some developers; there are plenty of places closer to the city center where they can
develop. I support multi -use hi- density housing- not sprawl.
No new housing development please. Against the idea of urban sprawling.
I need more information. I am for the park but not for more housing developments.
No urban sprawl, and too much commercial drawing people from downtown. Downtown needs to be redeveloped.
97408
No more growth out River Road. There are already enough traffic jams out there. There is enough recreational opportunity
and open space out there from the schools and the River Road Park District.
Traffic
97401
I think that there is absolutely no need to move the boundaries at this point. The Santa Clara area is already a mess and I
think need less housing for less devastation to traffic and schools.
Congestion is monumental now. Without widening and revamping the roads and highways this is going to cause disastrous
consequences.
The roads and schools can't take the growth the way they are today.
97402
The traffic issues, we don't need anymore housing until they can handle the traffic problems we have now.
Too much traffic will be in the area. The park isn't really wanted. We need the faun land, not cover it up with houses.
There would be too much of an increase in traffic. It's probably going to cost the taxpayers something somewhere along the
line. The city says they have no money for maintenance of parks they now have.
I want less traffic. I want the area to improve but not necessarily with more people and development.
There is already a lot of houses and traffic. The park would be nice but we don't need any more housing.
