The name of this organization shall be "Emerald Valley BMX ". <br /> SECTION B: Office. The location of the principal office of the corporation shall be <br /> at Emerald Valley BMX, Leo Harris Dtive. The board shall secure adequate insurance <br /> coverage for equipment and materials within headquarters. Legal papers such u by- <br /> laws, current year tax return, lease, and non- profit status certificate shall be kept in <br /> a fire proof safe deposit box located at the track. A copy of such papers shall also <br /> be maintained by the Secretary and kept in a location away from the track and <br /> corporate office. The keys for the safe deposit box shall be maintained by the <br /> President/Track Operator and the Secretary. <br /> ARTICLE IL PURPOSE <br /> The purpose or purposes for which this corporation is formed are <br /> SECTION A To form a non -profit corporation for the purpose of providing a <br /> suitable environment for bicycle motocross. <br /> SECTION B: To conduct bicycle motocross competition. <br /> SECTION C: To promote the sport of bicycle motocross in the community. <br /> SECTION D: To implant in youth the ideals of the sportsmanship code which are: <br /> Develop a strong, clean mind and soul and body. <br /> Develop an understanding of and respect for sportsmanlike conduct. <br /> Develop an undershutdIns of snd respect for the rules. <br /> Develop courage In defeat; tolerance and modesty in victory. <br /> Develop control over emotions and speech. <br /> • Develop into real, true citizens. <br /> ARTICLE III. MEMBERSHIP <br /> The membership of Emerald Valley BMX shall consist of every rider and parent and/or <br /> legal Guardian of such rider that holds • current membership or associate membership <br /> with the sanctioning body credited towards Emerald valley BMX. <br />
