ARTICLE IV. FISCAL YEAR AND REVENUE <br /> SECTION A: Fiscal Year. The fiscal year shall be Januaiy 1 through December 31. <br /> SECTION B: The Executive Board may designate an Emerald Valley BMX Purchasing <br /> Agent. <br /> SECTION C: A husband and wife, or partners, may not co -sign the same check. The <br /> account checks will always require two of the following six signatures: 1) Track Operator, <br /> 2) President, 3) Vice President, 4) Secretary, 5) Treasurer, 6) Purchasing Agent. <br /> ARTICLE V. ELECTION AND DUTIES OF OFFICERS <br /> SECTION A: Elected Officers. The elected officers and succession of offices of Emerald <br /> Valley BMX shall be Track Operator, President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. <br /> SECTION B: Election of officers shall take place at the November business meeting. The <br /> new officers will take office on January lst each year. <br /> SECTION C: Nominations shall be opened at the October business meeting and shall <br /> remain open until the lst main gate drops at the last Saturday race before the November <br /> business meeting. The nomination board shall be kept in plain sight in registration. <br /> SECTION D: The following individuals shall be allowed to vote and /or run for office of <br /> Emerald Valley BMX: <br /> Any eligible, Emerald Valley BMX card holding rider 18 and over. <br /> A spouse of any eligible, Emerald Valley BMX card holding rider 18 and <br /> over. <br /> Any parent or legal guardian (maximum 2) of any eligible, Emerald Valley <br /> BMX card holding rider under the age of 18. <br /> Any Associate Member of Emerald Valley BMX. <br /> SECTION E: Proof of membership will be required at all regular and special elections. <br /> SECTION F: If a person currently holds office at another track, they shall not be allowed <br /> to run for office at Emerald Valley BMX if the terms of office would overlap. <br /> SECTION G: If a member requests that a vote be held by secret ballot in any regular or <br /> special meeting, it shall be granted. <br /> SECTION H. Elections shall be held by secret ballot and shall be conducted in accordance <br /> with Robcrts Rules of Orders. Offices will be voted for in successive order, beginning with <br /> Track Operator and ending with Treasurer, allowing the candidates to run for more than <br /> one office. <br /> r <br /> 2 <br />
