having the computer troubles that he reported having last week and
that this was still preventing him from successfully importing the
RiverPlay donors into the database. He did say that he was trying
to get around the obstacles and would "translate it into the real
donor table later today."
2. Carrie follows up with email to Kelly, POS representative on
DAT. Kelly calls Steve to explain that this project must be
assigned an elevated priority status and that the RiverPlay donors
must be imported by the end of the day.
3. Prepared timeline of project since Therese was brought on board
to test the database.
4. Carrie requests Jesse to create a report with the following
information: Project, Component, Item name, Item cost, Donation
price, Quantity required, Location description. Jesse produces this
report and sends a link to it. Jesse is willing and able to help
expedite this project but needs access to the system.
5. Continue to input donations, test database and record issues.
6. Carrie receives email from Steve Neet at 4:44 p.m., indicating
that he was working on the importing of the RiverPlay donors and
hoped to complete this conversion before going home that evening.
He also indicated that he had worked on a few of the issues
documented in \ \Cesrv200\ public\ Shared \Therese\Issues.6.4.07.doc
over the previous weekend but had not yet posted the changes
because he "wanted to resolve a few more before" making these
changes live. Again, he reiterated that he does not have the time to
devote to this project: "With only one person working currently I
am not getting as much through put as I wish I was." (There must
have been technical difficulties because as of 9:30 a.m. the next
morning on Friday, June 8, the RiverPlay donors were not yet in
the database.)
Fri., June 8 (4.5 hrs) Kelly ascertains that Jesse has the technical expertise to work on
the database and sends an email to Steve, inquiring about the
feasibility of Jesse acquiring access to the database and beginning
addressing in earnest the issues related to the database, making the
tool operational and improving the user interface.
As of 1 p.m., the RiverPlay donors were still not in the database.
Therese worked a short day until 1 p.m. only today, entering more
Hays donations.
