Mon, June 11 (5 hrs.) Met with Josh Richmond and Scott Milovich, PW Engineering, to
brief them about the information needed from final park
construction plans on file at PW Engineering regarding various
park amenities from gift catalog lists.
Worked on matching trees to assigned locations for Hays
Memorial Tree Garden donations.
Tues, June 12 (7 hrs) Steve, Therese, Carrie and Jesse met for 2 hours to review the
latest set of issues at
\ \Cesrv200 \public \Shared \Therese \Issues 6.12.07.doc (38 items
were originally on this list. After annotating, there are now 40
items. See entry below.). Steve also updated us on the status of our
issues to date:
1. He has developed a spreadsheet itemizing all our requests and
indicating whether it is a quick fix or a time estimate to resolve
the issue or add the functionality. We have not seen this yet.
Any enhancements and many of the more complicated repairs
may require a considerably extended timeline to resolve or
implement.
2. He has spent several hours working on one of the 43 items on
the original list, creating the ability to delete an item in
projects. However, this appears to be a very complicated issue
and there doesn't appear to be a quick fix. In the meantime, we
have a list of items that need to be deleted from various
projects.
3. He has also worked on importing the RiverPlay donors Carrie
gave him a couple of weeks ago; however, his computer was
down and then the network and this has prevented him from
completing this task. He anticipates being able to complete this
job shortly. It will be available for us to review on the test
database and once we approve the work, it will be uploaded to
the real database.
4. He understands that this project is a priority for POS but he has
several other projects in his workload and can only devote
limited time to this project. He also understands that we have
uncovered multiple legitimate issues but again can only address
these issues as time and other work priorities permit.
5. He did talk to his supervisor about Kelly's recent request that
Jesse be given access to the database but it was determined that
this work would be outside of Jesse's position classification
and that this would not be possible at this time.
6. Given all of the above, Steve is open to exploring creative
solutions to getting this work done and making the database
functional. Jesse indicates that he has the experience and
expertise to work in this environment, and, as a member of the
