1. CCI apply for and obtain a conditional use permit for it intended use within four years from the date <br /> of the resolution. This condition was acceptably met by CCI. <br /> 2. CCI provide confirmation to the City that at least 80% of the construction funding for the relocation <br /> project be securred prior to commencement of construction of the project. This condition was met <br /> by CCI in June 2001 after the expiration of the resolution. <br /> 3. That construction commenced, and the relocation occurs within five years from the date of the <br /> resolution. This condition has yet to be met. <br /> Achievements which will be gained through granting CCI the Thomason Lane sites: <br /> • CCI receives an asset base which facilitates their ability to receive grants <br /> • The city removes a thirty -one year old non - conforming use from Skinner's Park <br /> • Liability to the city is removed without making repairs in excess of the value of the structure <br /> CCI is asking the City Council reaffirm the support for their relocation by transferring ownership of <br /> these lots to CCI at no cost and extending the time in which they have to complete construction and <br /> relocate to December 31, 2003. <br /> Council Action History <br /> 1995 - The Council passed resolution 4442 authorizing the City Manager to execute such documents <br /> necessary to transfer, for no monetary consideration, Tax Lots 700 and 800, Assessor's Map <br /> 17- 04 -25 -13 located on Thomason Lane to CCI. <br /> 1967 - The Council granted temporary rent -free use of the then recently acquired residential <br /> structure at 169 N.
