Please note that at the time of this writing, the <br /> remaining credits were being negotiated for purchase by ODOT. <br /> Survey and Calculation of Acreage <br /> Site Design <br /> In March of 1994 a City survey crew conducted a topographic survey of the site <br /> for the design team. The 1994 pre - project survey and the 1962 Lane County <br /> Construction Survey topographic maps were compared to one another by entering them into a <br /> computer assisted drawing (CAD) program. The resulting map estimated the <br /> approximate amount of fill on the site by subtracting the currently surveyed <br /> ground elevations from the 1962 surveyed ground elevations. The difference in <br /> height was the result of fill material bought to the site. Because the fill <br /> boundaries were easy to identify, a field map was created outlining the extent of <br /> the fill areas. The field map verified the contours created by the CAD system <br /> and provided a rough estimate of the acreage covered by fill material. <br /> The 1994 pre project survey and as-built surveys were used to calculate the <br /> actual number of acres of wetland restored as they were morg = accurate.
