We would like your review on as many of the topics as you have time. However, given the
time constraints of this internal review process, please focus your efforts on the topic(s) that
have greatest implications to your working group. Please send your comments to
Tim Bingham (Engineering Division) by not later than March 17, 1995. The following are the
four topics with authors noted. If you have specific questions, please direct them to the
respective authors.
1) Management of Open Channels, Creeks, Wetlands, Riparian Areas that have a Stormwater
Program Interest. This guideline is used both as in information aide to inform staff of the
City's policy under the Stormwater Plan to manage stormwater related natural resources and
for addressing requests to eliminate or pipe identified resources. Author: Tim Bingham.
2) Development Review Process for Natural Resources that have a Stormwater Program
Interest. This guideline suggests modifications to the current permit review process including
land use and building permits. Authors: Pam Pulliam and Dal 011ek.
3) Native Plant Lists for Planting Along Public Rights -of -Way. This guideline identifies native
plant lists and situations where native plants may be appropriate along public rights -of -ways.
Author: Ed Alverson.
4) Technical Specifications for Voluntary On -site Controls. This guideline responds to
voluntary requests to construct on -site water quality controls by providing technical
specifications for construction. We don't have enough copies of the reference material to send
to each reviewer. Please indicate your interest and we'll get you a copy. This memo provides
the rationale for the reference material selection. Author: Woodward Clyde Consultants.
Please route all comments on this guideline through Tim Bingham.
