Fairgrounds to Chambers <br /> a) Existing Conditions <br /> This part of the creek has limited ability to meander. The last part is constrained between private <br /> property and pathways. There are just a few trees and shrubs, mostly willows and non - native <br /> blackberries. These clusters <br /> should be spaced to allow for any required mowing. See diagram below. <br /> • Do not plant more than four trees of one species in one cluster. <br /> • Spaces between the clusters will be mowed. <br /> • Between Polk Street and Chambers Street, trees should be planted only on the top of the <br /> bank. <br /> • Shrubs and small trees may be planted on the lower and upper bank, but should be tightly <br /> clustered near trees. Clusters should be spaced 50' -75' to allow mowing between them. <br /> • Willows may be planted along the entire lower bank near the water line. <br /> 18 <br />
