Date: 09/13/93
From: Linda Norris CEEXLHN - RIS1
To: Bob Hammitt CEWMJRH - RIS1
Subject: Trees
Bob, thanks for the memo about coordinating work with EWEB. From talking
to Marty a couple of months ago, it sounds like they also want to keep
the distinction of their crews working on the high voltage lines.
On another topic, you've probably heard that Council Officers are suggesting
that the tree ordinance revisions not go to them until January. I'm curious
about how things are going with implementing the new ordinance, whether it's
more or less helpful to Jan in making decisions about permits, what comments
he hears from people who want to remove tree, etc. We probably ought to plan
on getting together sometime in early November to talk about all of this.
(Although it seems pretty awful to already be scheduling that far in advance.
I guess summer is over...) Thanks, Linda
