D. The organization that is hiring the supervisor can request the supervisor they <br /> would like to use if he or she is a regular employee of the other organization. <br /> The request should be worked out in the best interest of both organizations. <br /> E. Principals, coordinators or supervisors having major complaints about the use of <br /> their facilities by the using party regarding inadequate supervision, custodial <br /> problems, equipment or facility safety etc., should submit their complaints in <br /> writing to their own agency's use of facilities office. A copy of the complaint <br /> will then be forwarded to the using party who will provide a written response to <br /> the complaints. <br /> F. The supervisor's responsibilities while on duty will be agreed to in advance by <br /> the supervisor and the person responsible for the activity being held. <br /> V. Maximum Use of Facilities: <br /> A. Buildings and other facilities will be made available as long as an approved <br /> supervisor is on duty and approved opening and closing procedures are estab- <br /> lished. <br /> B. Custodial duties and work will be scheduled around school and City programs when <br /> possible. <br /> C. To maximize use of heavily used facilities such as gyms, pools, tennis courts, <br /> ball fields, etc., the owning party will provide the using party with a schedule <br /> that shows the owning party's activities and what time periods are not <br /> scheduled. <br /> D. If there are concerns with facility use not granted to the using party by the <br /> owning party that cannot be worked out between representatives of both parties, <br /> the using party will submit its concerns in writing to its own use of facilities <br /> office. A copy of the concern will then be forwarded to the owning party who <br /> will provide a written response to the concern. <br /> VI. Custodial Work: <br /> A. Normal custodial work will be taken care of by each party for its own property. <br /> B. Each party will make every effort to take care of normal additional custodial <br /> work caused by having the other party's program in their building. <br /> C. If there is extra custodial work required that cannot be taken care of by the <br /> regular custodian's hours, then one of the following will be done: <br /> 1. The using party will have the opportunity to do part or all of the custodial <br /> work. <br /> 2. The using party will pay for the extra custodial work required on the basis <br /> of prearranged hours and at the rate of pay set forth by the organization <br /> owning the facility. <br /> VII. Fees and Charges: <br /> The City or School District may assess and collect a nominal fee from participants <br /> -3- <br />
