TOTAL of 71 evaluations were returned
SUMMARY REPORT
EVALUATION FORM - TRAINING DAY - DECEMBER 17, 1993
AFSCME
Was this session beneficial? Yes 47 No 5
No suggestions - I thought it was okay. Longer time. I would like to have meetings
like that more often here so it is easy to attend. Chose not to attend. Good for
update. Somewhat informative about current updates. Not enough time for
questions and answers. Interesting dialogue concerning issues of current review.
Good to communicate and stay informed. The meeting was helpful, but I felt we
needed more time to cover as many questions people were asking. This session let
rank -file discuss issues surrounding PERS. I would assume the AFSCME meeting
should be very beneficial as its an opportunity for union members to provide input
without going to union meetings. Continue the use of questionnaires. I'm a new
employee so any info I received was beneficial. Not there. Since I usually don't
attend the monthly meetings it was very informative. I like union stuff. Good to
get together with everybody once in a while..went smoothly..enjoyed it..monitors in
conference room need attention. I am supervisor so did not attend.
WORKSITE ENVIRONMENT
Was this session beneficial?
Yes 54 No 7
How would you rate the presentation? Excellent 11 Good 27 Average 11 Poor 3
I don't think it should be such a big deal. Most of it is just joking around and
joking around makes the work place no so serious and a lot easier to be here and
like it. I was expecting something other than sexual harassment information! Needed
more time. Was difficult to hear Chris in back of room. This subject The subject
is very sensitive and needs more time. Some employees simply did not get it.
Probably most beneficial presentation - language on tape a little bawdy however.
The video was informative. The HRRS reps could have stayed at their desks and we
would not have known the difference. Not too many people took it seriously - that's
probably a good indication that it's needed. This was offensive to me. Film was
crude and to say attendance was required forced people to endure situations with no
options of leaving. This topic should be addressed on a regular basis (sexual
harassment). Some of the material covered in the video was too blatant. Someone
need to be responsible for all of the tv's in the room working. Hard class for
large group. Needed time for questions and answers. Absolutely must reevaluate
my inner self and don't bring it to the job. Not enough time was allotted for this
session. More comments at crew level, and free flow of comments. Poor sound of
video equipment. Video was very good -this is an important and relevant subject -
additional sessions in the future are a good idea. Video problems horrible.
Would like to take the training class that this lhr. session covers. The
presentation was a little bit general. Employees need to be occasionally reminded
to "show sensitivity" to their co- workers. These training sessions provide several
examples of how each situation can be viewed differently by different people. I
had already been to a session before this one so everything that was discussed at
this one I had heard before. Not there.
