They are intended to not only foster environmental <br />awareness and understanding, but to build community stewardship as <br />well. Further, they are designed to preserve and protect Eugene's <br />valuable natural resources for generations to come. <br />It should be noted that many of the strategies identified reflect current <br />practices and policies of the City of Eugene. They have been <br />included to provide a comprehensive set of strategies for the future. <br />A. Recreation Programs <br />A -1. Continue to serve as the primary provider of recreation <br />services in the area while striving to increase partnerships. <br />A -2.
