Establish a delivery system that provides equal access to <br />recreation services for all residents through a variety of <br />community facilities, including: <br />• Community centers; <br />• Aquatic facilities; <br />• Special facilities; <br />• Eugene Public Library; <br />• Athletic fields, courts, and indoor facilities; <br />• Schools; and <br />• Facilities provided by private and commercial <br />organizations and partner agencies. <br />A -4. Provide services to all residents within the following core <br />program areas: <br />• Seniors; <br />• Youth & Family; <br />• Outdoor /Environmental; <br />• Adaptive Recreation; <br />• Athletics; <br />• Aquatics; <br />• Hult Center /Cuthbert; and <br />• Volunteer Programs. <br />A -5. In the short term, increase programming in those areas that do <br />not require significant capital improvements, such as youth <br />and family programs, special events, outdoor programs, and <br />community garden programs. <br />A -6. Provide drop -in activities that respond to residents' active, busy <br />lifestyles. <br />A -7. Provide more special events, such as concerts in the parks or <br />festivals. <br />A -8.
