POLICIES £x PROCEDURES <br />(1) <br />Street* Lighting <br />(a) Agencies (e.g., City of Eugene, water and lighting <br />districts) Shall own their respective street lighting equipment-, <br />including dedicated street light poles, circuits, mast arms, <br />switching facilities, luminaires, lamps and ballasts, etc. <br />(b) Agencies shall be responsible for and may perform all <br />work associated with normal operation and maintenance, repair, <br />replacerre;:t, removal and new installation of agency lighting systems. <br />EXCEPTION: Agencies and /or their contractors will <br />not be permitted to work on any Board -owned facilities <br />(e.g., making electrical connections /disconnections, repairing, <br />rap' acing, removing and /or installing equipment on the Board's <br />Poles) . Work of this nature will be performed only by the <br />Board upon xoritten request from the agencies. <br />Agencies and /or their contractors shall comply with the <br />appropriate safety codes when working near or in the vicinity of <br />the Board's electrical distribution circuits and facilities. <br />(c) By Imstual agreement, agencies may contract with t <br />for normal operation and maintenance, repair, replacement, removal <br />and installation of street lighting. However, only high - pressure <br />sodium or metal halide lighting systellls will be avaiJ.abJ.e for <br />replacing existing and installing new street lighting. Idritten <br />agreements between the agency and the Board shall be required. <br />ATTACHMEN'r 2 <br />
