Public comments will be taken <br />during the meeting. <br />The advisory group includes representatives from hunting dog trainers, game bird <br />propagators, shooting preserve operators, falconers, hunters, bird conservationists, <br />Oregon State Police and ODFW. <br />ODFW plans to hold three total meetings and complete the final meeting before April 8, <br />2011 —in time for draft rules to be brought before the Fish and Wildlife Commission for <br />consideration at the June 3 meeting in Salem. Proposed rules will be available for <br />public review prior to the June 3 Commission meeting. <br />Temporary rule clarifies legal training <br />While the rules are being revised, ODFW filed a temporary rule with the Secretary of <br />State on Jan. 27 to give commercial and recreational trainers a way to continue to train <br />dogs in the way they are accustomed. <br />http: / /www.dfw. state. or. us /news /2011 /february/020111 c.asp 2/4/2011 <br />
