Auth.: ORS 183 & ORS 496 Stats. hnpiemented: ORS 183 & ORS 496 Hist.: 3WC <br />2, f. 12- 19 -73, of. 1- I1 -74, Renumbered from 630 - 025 -0223, Renumbered from 635 -007- <br />0340; FWC 49- 1991, f. & cent. e£ 5 -13 -91 <br />635 -051 -0076 <br />Permit to Release Domestically Reared Game Birds for Hunting Dog and Falconry <br />Training <br />1 Persons wishing to release domestically reared ffame birds for the purpose of <br />hunting dog or raptor training shall fast obtain a Game Bird Release Permit from <br />the Department. <br />(2) Game bird species which may be released under a Game Bird Release Permit <br />are: common pheasant (all races of Phasianus colchicus, most commonly known as <br />ring- necked); California (valley) bobwhite, Coturnix quail, Hungarian (gray) <br />chukar, red -legged partridge, and mallard ducks, provided that such birds were <br />legally acquired and (except for bobwhite and Coturnix quail) are permanently <br />marked by either a nasal scar or by a healed scar produced by either the removal <br />upon hatching of the outer toe of the right foot (for upland game birds) or by the <br />removal of the right rear toe (for mallards).. <br />Stat.
