HC <br />4.6. <br /> The following classes of contracts include elements of construction <br />YBRIDONTRACTS <br />of Public Improvements as well as personal services and may be awarded under a Request <br />for Proposals, unless exempt from competitive Solicitation. <br />4.6.1D/BCM/GCC. <br /> Contracts for the construction of Public <br />ESIGNUILD AND ONTRACTS <br />Improvements using a design/build or construction manager/general contractor <br />construction method shall be awarded under a Request for Proposals. The determination <br />to construct a project using a design/build or construction manager/general contractor <br />construction method must be approved by the city manager or the city manager’s <br />designee, upon application of the Solicitation Agent, in which the Solicitation Agent <br />submits facts that support a finding that the construction of the improvement under <br />the proposed method is likely to result in cost savings, higher quality, reduced errors, <br />or other benefits to the city. <br />4.6.2 ESPC. <br /> Unless the contract qualifies for <br />NERGYAVINGS ERFORMANCEONTRACTS <br />award under another classification, contractors for energy savings performance <br />contracts shall be selected under a Request for Proposals. <br />CGS <br />4.7. <br /> Unless a contract for the Procurement of <br />ONTRACTS FOR OODS AND ERVICES <br />Goods and/or Services qualifies for award under another classification, the contract shall be <br />awarded under the classifications described in this Section 4.7. <br />4.7.1AP. <br /> The Procurement of Goods or Services, or Goods and Services <br />NYROCUREMENT <br />in any amount, may be made under either an Invitation to Bid or a Request for <br />Proposals. <br />4.7.2P$150,000. <br /> The Procurement of Goods or Services, or Goods <br />ROCUREMENTS UP TO <br />and Services for not exceeding $150,000 may also be made under an Informal <br />Solicitation for either Quotes or Proposals. <br />CSASA’D <br />4.8. <br />ONTRACTSUBJECT TO WARD AT OLICITATION GENTSISCRETION <br />The following classes of contracts may be awarded in any manner which the Solicitation <br />Agent deems appropriate to the city’s needs, including by direct appointment or purchase. <br />4.8.1A. <br /> Contracts for the placing of notice or advertisements in any medium. <br />DVERTISING <br />4.8.2A. <br /> Contract amendments shall not be considered to be separate contracts if <br />MENDMENTS <br />made in accordance with these regulations for the amendment of contracts. <br />4.8.3A. <br /> Contracts for the purchase of animals. <br />NIMALS <br />4.8.4C$5,000. <br /> Contracts of any type for which the Contract Price does <br />ONTRACTS UP TO <br />not exceed $5,000.
