BA. <br />10.6 <br /> Selection of contractors for Goods, Services and personal services <br />ASIS FOR WARD <br />shall be based on the Quote or Proposal that the Solicitation Agent considers most <br />advantageous to the City. The selection criteria for Public Improvement contracts shall be <br />based on Quotes but may include a consideration of other factors in addition to price, such <br />as experience, specific expertise, availability, project understanding, contractor capacity, <br />responsibility and similar factors. The Solicitation Agent shall make a written record of all <br />Offerors, the prices quoted and, if the award was made on a basis other than price, a record <br />of the evaluation of each Offer and the basis for award. <br />DN. <br />10.7 <br /> The Solicitation Agent may discuss the <br />ISCUSSIONS AND EGOTIATIONS <br />Solicitation requirements for any type of Informal Solicitation with potential Offerors and <br />may discuss a Quote or Proposal with an Offeror to clarify its Quote or Proposal or to <br />effect modifications that will make the Quote or Proposal Responsive to the Solicitation <br />requirements. Except for Solicitations involving Public Improvements, after all initial <br />Quotes have been received and recorded, the Solicitation Agent may negotiate with an <br />Offeror to effect modifications that will make the Quote or Proposal more Advantageous to <br />the city.
