The contractor's mobile equipment will be equipped with a two-way communication <br />system and the contractor will have a 24-hour dispatching service available. <br />5. For tows that initiate outside the city limits a mileage rate <br />in addition to the towing charge will apply from the towing site to the Fleet Services <br />location. <br />2. Towing Requirement Cancellation <br />Contractor will not assess a towing charge for the following: <br />o Tow requests is cancelled by the City of Eugene prior to hook-up by contractor <br />personnel. <br />Y Vehicle was able to leave the site under its own power prior to the arrival of the <br />tow truck, and the towing request was not canceled in time to stop the dispatch of <br />the tow truck. <br />Standard Contract Provisions - Page 5 <br />(Revised June 2000) <br />
