Exhibit B: Scope of Services and Compensation <br />Required Towing Equipment: <br />The contractor must have the resources, both in equipment and qualified personnel, to <br />effectively and securely tow motorcycles and compact cars, sedans, light, medium and <br />heavy trucks up to 1 % ton. All equipment used by the contractor must be secured and <br />used in .a manner to prevent damage to the vehicles and equipment. <br />• All tow trucks must be equipped with a dolly or go jacks and kit lock-out kits to <br />facilitate towing. <br />• At least one (1) tow truck must be low profile, capable of towing vehicles from <br />under City Hall and various City parking structures that have a maximum <br />clearance of approximately 7' 6", or towing company must have the ability to <br />move vehicles out of parking structure to a place they can be towed from. <br />• At least one (1) tow truck must be classified as "Rollback Platform" as <br />determined by a current inspection. <br />• All tow trucks must have the company name and/or logo on the truck. <br />1. Response Time <br />The contractor will respond within thirty (30) minutes with the proper equipment of a call <br />to the contractor's dispatcher from the City of Eugene for towing services. A completed <br />response is defined by the arrival of the proper equipment at the site designated by the <br />City of Eugene. If the contractor does not respond with the proper equipment within 1 <br />hour, the City of Eugene is only required to pay 50% of the established rate when the <br />tow is competed. <br />Two or more incidents in any calendar month of a tow truck not arriving at the requested <br />towing site, and not communicating with the City regarding the late arrival, is a valid <br />reason for the City to terminate the contract. <br />Towingwill be done on an as needed basis, and vehicles will be towed back to 1820 <br />Roosevelt Blvd, Eugene, OR, 97402. <br />Transport the operator/driver on an as needed basis back to 1820 Roosevelt Blvd., <br />Eugene, OR 97402. <br />2. Other Services: The towing company may be called to respond to open vehicles that are <br />locked with the keys inside and to jump start vehicles with a dead battery. <br />3. Permits and State Law Compliance <br />The contractor shall possess all applicable permits and licenses as required by the State <br />of Oregon Public Safety Tow Truck Rules and Regulations. <br />4.
