•
-----Original Message
From: Steven Baker [mailto:msbaker@cs.uoregon.edu]
Sent: Monday, July 27, 2009 10:48 PM
To: HALLETT Jackie C; BJORKLUND Neil H
Cc: Deborah Healey; HITE Jackson (UO); BERRIAN Pam C; KINNISON
Michael J; CHONG Wesley; BALDWIN Lorna J; KOLB Randy C
Subject: Re: Proposed WUN Park Wi-Fi Project draft agreement
Hi,
I wanted to check in on the WUN Park Wi-Fi Project draft agreement.
Is any additional information needed from the WUN volunteers who
worked on the draft agreement or from Bob Quinney, the owner of the
Parkside Place Apartments? Is Parks and Open Space in a position to
send out a proposed timeline for completing a WUN Park Wi-Fi Project agreement?
The earlier we have a proposed timeline for completing an agreement,
the better it will be. Bob Quinney is away traveling quite a bit
this summer. This may make it difficult or delay his ability to sign
any final agreement that is developed and approved by Eugene Park
and Open Space and Eugene Information Technology. Also a proposed
timeline would allow use to schedule an approximate date in the
future with the equipment installer. This would prevent the regular
telecom workload backlog before the UO fall term from potentially
delaying the installation and operation of the WUN Park Wi-Fi.
Thanks,
-Steve
HALLETT Jackie C wrote:
Thanks Steve for preparing the draft agreement for the proposed West University Park Wi-
Fi Project. The
agreement was developed jointly with Bob Quinney, the owner of the Parkside Apartments, who
is a well-known and talented attorney living in Eugene.
4
