e
The proposed agreement w9based on a combination of two dfuments that Jackie Hallett
suggested we use as a starting point. One of these documents was the statement of terms
document that Eugene Parks uses for Neighborhood Matching Grants. The other document was the
lease agreement that the City negotiated for use of Civic Stadium (the Eugene Ems ballpark).
We tried to cover all the bases and protect both parties to the proposed agreement.
Bob Quinney has signed off on the proposed draft agreement. So it is now ready for
review and revision by staff at Eugene Parks and Open Space and by staff at Eugene
Information Services Division.
The proposed agreement consists of two documents:
(1) Statement of Terms and Conditions for the WUN Park Wi-Fi Project Project between
Eugene Parks and Open Space and Information Technology Division and Parkside Place LLC.
(2) Exhibit A that describes the technical details of the WUN Park Wi-Fi Project.
The dates in the agreement may need to be changed based on how long Eugene Parks and
Open Space, Information Services Division, and other city staff need to complete their review
and make any revisions.
The West University Neighborhood board is very interested in completing an agreement so
that the WUN Park Wi-Fi Project would be operational before students return for fall term at
the University of Oregon.
I am attaching the proposed agreement for your review and consideration.
Thanks,
-Steven Baker
WUN Board Member
5
