Conservation Agreement <br />for <br />Bradshaw's lomatium and It's Habitat <br />in <br />Amazon Park, Eugene, Oregon <br />Bradshaw's lomatium (Lomatium bradshawii) is an endangered species and was listed September <br />30, 1988, in a final rule published by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. This Conservation' <br />Agreement ( (agreement) between the parties listed below has been initiated to conserve F <br />Bradshaw' lomatium by reducing threats to the species, recovering the population, and <br />maintaining habitat. The primary purpose of this document is to conserve this species (and other <br />rare species if found) through conservation measures under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, <br />as amended (Act). The. secondary purpose of this document is to allow involved parties <br />(cooperator) to demonstrate their concern and commitment to preserve the natural heritage of <br />lands owned by the City. of Eugene (City) along Amazon Creek (conservation area) (Figure 1). <br />I. SPEICIES INVOLVED <br />Bradshaw's lomatium Lomatium bradshawii <br />Other spec�es included in this agreement are those found Oregon Natural Heritage Program's <br />(ONHP) "L st 1" of rare native plants, such as white - topped aster (Aster curtus), Willamette <br />daisy (Erig ron decumbens var. decumbens), shaggy horkelia ( Horkelia congesta ssp. congesta), <br />Kincaid's lupine (Lupinus sulphureus ssp. kincaidii), and Fender's blue butterfly (Icaricia <br />icarioides nderi). Should any of these species be found in areas to be inventoried, this <br />agreement �i may be modified to include them with agreement of the cooperators. <br />II. INVIOLVED PARTIES <br />A. S.
