Completed - They successfully accomplished the first when they received a conditional use permit <br />allowing a child care facility on the Thomason Lane property, <br />2. Still to complete - The next step required before we can process the actual sale of property from the <br />city to CCI is they must show to our satisfaction that they have 80% of the funding (or in -kind services) <br />for the new child, care facility in their possession. Once they can show this, we will proceed into Closing. <br />3. Still to complete - The contract with the city gives CCI until Feb. 1, 2001 to relocate to the Thomason <br />Lane property or face the possibility the city would refuse to extend the contract and take back that <br />property. <br />I spoke to Debra Delegato who is CCI Board Chair. She said they are continuing to do grant writing and <br />feel fund raising efforts and donation of in -kind services is going well. They have a General Contractor on <br />board to do the Construction Management -•Gale Roberts Co. - Michael Roberts is the lead from that <br />company. Currently architects are being interviewed and she expects to have one on board. within the <br />month. ' <br />They hope to break ground in July of 1998.
