00195.13 Asphalt Cement Material Price Escalation/De-Escalation Clause <br />(ADD) The escalation/de-escalation clause for WMAC is in effect for this contract as <br />identified in the Bid Schedule. <br />00220.02 Public Safety and Convenience <br />The following bulleted item(s) to the end of this subsection: <br />• For Valley River Drive, follow the TCP. <br />iD For Goodpasture Island Road and Executive Parkway, maintain a minimum <br />of one lane open in each direction for two way traffic at all times. Maintain <br />access for at least one driveway for each property and coordinate with <br />businesses for short duration access closures. <br />When construction requires the closure of a sidewalk or sidewalk ramp, place <br />a Type "W1" "SIDEWALK CLOSED" (OR22-12-533) sign at each point of <br />closure. Mount each sign above the striped panel of a Type II barricade <br />placed across the sidewalk, facing pedestrians approaching the Work area. <br />Advance warning of sidewalk closure (R9-11 shown in MUTCD) must be <br />placed at nearest safe crossing to provide an alternate pedestrian route. <br />In addition, in areas where surfacing is altered or removed from crosswalks or <br />sidewalks resurface the areas with asphalt concrete or concrete in <br />accordance to ADA standards each day if the areas are open to pedestrian or <br />bicycle traffic. <br />• The contractor shall provide five (5) business days prior notification to Lane <br />Transit District (LTD) Operations office, 541-741-6199 for all activities which <br />will affect their operations. The contractor shall also notify LTD. on a daily <br />basis of specific Work activities, location, and schedule. <br />• The contractor shall provide five (5) business days prior notification to <br />Sanipac Dispatch office, (541) 736-3618 for all activities which will affect their <br />operations. Upon request the contractor shall also notify Sanipac on a daily <br />basis of specific Work activities, location, and schedule. <br />• The contractor shall provide five (5) business days prior notification to Royal <br />Refuse Dispatch office, (541) 688-5622 for all activities which will affect their <br />operations. Upon request the contractor shall also notify Royal Refuse on a <br />daily basis of specific Work activities, location, and schedule. <br />• The contractor shall provide five (5) business days prior notification to Lane <br />Apex Dispatch office, (541) 607-2042 for all activities which will affect their <br />operations. Upon request the contractor shall also notify Lane Apex on a <br />daily basis of specific Work activities, location, and schedule. <br />• The contractor shall provide five (5) business days prior notification to the <br />U.S. Postal Service (USPS), (541) 341-3694 for all activities which will affect <br />their operations. Upon request the contractor shall also notify USPS on a <br />daily basis of specific Work activities, location, and schedule. <br />Special Provisions - Job #Ts 4637 and 4435 <br />
