Sediment Removal <br />Existing stormwater facilities shall be monitored during the contractor's construction activities. <br />The Contractor shall, when directed by the Engineer, remove any sedimentation / debris, <br />associated with their construction activities, that has been allowed to enter these existing <br />stormwater facilities. <br />The Contractor shall remove any sedimentation / debris, associated with their construction <br />activities, that has accumulated in the sump, and lines of newly constructed stormwater facilities <br />connected to the City's stormwater system, by the end of the work day if construction is <br />occurring during the wet season work period ( October 15 - April 30 ) or when directed by the <br />engineer. <br />Saw Cutting Slurry <br />All waste generated from. saw cutting, shall be vacuumed immediately behind the save cutting <br />operation, and disposed of as approved by the engineer. <br />Additional Best Management Practices <br />1. Sweep all streets in work area nightly after working in area. <br />I Construction debris and garbage will be disposed of properly at the end of every <br />workday. <br />3. Concrete work will occur in a manner such that no concrete is allowed to enter the city <br />storm system, or natural resources.
