00225.05 Contractor Traffic Control Plan <br />(DELETE) The first sentence. <br />(ADD) The Traffic Control Plan in the plan set has.been approved, by the Engineer, for <br />use by the Contractor. It is the Contractor's responsibility to modify this TCP as <br />necessary to provide a complete TCP for the Contractor's Work operations. Any <br />modifications to this plan requires that the Contractor shall submit a detailed <br />Work schedule showing stage construction along with the Traffic Control Plan(s) <br />(TCP) in writing five (5) Work Days before the pre-construction conference for <br />approval. If, as determined by the Engineer, the TCP does not meet these <br />requirements the TCP will be rejected and no adjustment of Contract Time will be <br />allowed. <br />00225.11 Temporary Signing <br />(ADD) The City shall provide Temporary Information Signs which the contractor shall <br />supply the supports for. <br />(b) Sign Supports: <br />(ADD) (6) City Provided Special Information Signs - <br />City Provided Special. Information Signs shall be post mounted in accordance <br />with 00225.41(b). <br />00225.41 Temporary Signing <br />(ADD) (h) City Provided and Special Signs <br />Install City Provided Special Information Signs and PCMS five (5) Work days <br />prior to commencement of any other Contract Work, with the exception of <br />placement of erosion control. <br />Locations of City Provided Special Information Signs are not shown. on project <br />plans and shall be located at the direction of the Engineer. Signs shall be picked <br />up and returned to Public Works Engineering at 99 East Broadway. The City will <br />provide the sign only; the City will not provide posts or other supports, hardware, <br />or any other appurtenant items or associated Work. <br />00225.43 Temporary Traffic Delineation <br />(g) Striping <br />(ADD) Temporary striping shall include all existing pavement striping and markings, <br />excluding bike lane stripes, bike markings, and delineation of parking spaces. <br />(1) Base Courses <br />(ADD) For cold plane surfaces, temporary striping shall be painted, use of reflective <br />flexible overlay pavement markers will not be allowed. <br />Special Specifications - Job #4582 Page 4 <br />
