004,05.80 Measurement <br />(REVISE) Except for Bedding & Pipe Zone Material and Imported Class A Backfill no separate <br />measurement of quantities will be made for work performed under this Section. <br />(ADD) 00405.83 Bedding & Pipe Zone Material - The quantity of bedding and pipe zone <br />material installed will be measured on the weight basis. The quantity of material will be <br />based on weigh tickets from scales meeting the requirements of Section 00190. Present <br />weigh tickets to the Project Inspector for signature on the day the material is delivered. <br />Removal and disposal excess and/ or unsuitable materials (deleterious materials, <br />organic matter, etc.) shall be incidental to this work. <br />(ADD) 00405.84 Imported Class A Backfill - The quantity of imported Class A backfill will be <br />measured on the weight basis. The quantity of material will be based on weigh tickets <br />from scales meeting the requirements of Section 00190. Present weigh tickets to the <br />Project Inspector for signature on the day the material is delivered. Removal and <br />disposal of excess and/ or unsuitable materials (deleterious materials, organic matter, <br />etc.) shall be incidental to this work. <br />00405.90 Payment <br />(REVISE) The accepted quantities of Bedding & Pipe Zone Material and Imported Class A Backfill <br />will be paid for at the Contract unit price, per unit of measurement, for the following items: <br />Pay Item Unit of Measurement <br />(a) Bedding & Pipe Zone Material Ton <br />(b) Imported Class A Backfill Ton <br />Items include removal of excess and/ or unsuitable material and replacement as <br />required. <br />Payment will be payment in full for furnishing and installing all materials, and for furnish <br />all equipment, labor, and incidentals necessary to complete the work as specified. <br />No separate or additional payment will be made for: <br />• Trench excavation <br />• Dewatering <br />• Pipe bedding with onsite material that is acceptable <br />• Pipe zone with onsite material that is acceptable <br />• Trench backfill with onsite material that is acceptable <br />Saw cutting <br />Concrete replacement <br />Trench Protection <br />01120.45 Pipe Bedding <br />(ADD) Pipe bedding material referenced in this section shall meet the requirements of Section <br />405. <br />01120.58 Backfill <br />(ADD) To second paragraph: Pipe zone material as described in this paragraph shall meet the <br />requirements of Section 405. <br />Addendum #2 - Job #4613 Page 2 <br />
