Exhibit C <br />Description of Services <br />Scope of Work: <br />1. Contractor shall provide a conceptual design for the Work in the form of a proposal, <br />including description of the work, sketch and cost estimate. <br />2. Contractor shall be responsible for providing schematic drawings for the Work. <br />3. The City will be responsible for funding a structural engineering report. City and <br />Contractor will mutually agree on a structural engineering firm. The report shall include <br />the confirmation of the structural integrity of the Work and the design for the Work's <br />foundation (scale drawings, templates, bolt patterns and construction specifications). <br />4. Contractor shall determine the artistic expression, design, color, scale, material and <br />texture of the Work, subject to review and acceptance by City as set forth in this <br />Agreement. <br />5. Location of the Work will be determined by City. In general, this location is that agreed <br />upon by the Contractor in keeping with the terms described in the RFP. <br />6. Contractor shall supply structural steel elements with paint over galvanized finish, and <br />stainless steel fabricated net with reflective disks. Contractor shall supply all elements of <br />the completed, in-place Work except for the concrete, rebar, aggregate, and earthwork <br />for the foundation. <br />7. Contractor shall provide to the City the structural engineer's report, scale drawing of the <br />engineered foundation, templates, bolt patterns and construction specifications. <br />8. City will construct a completed foundation as per the Contractor's scale drawing and <br />construction specifications. <br />9. Contractor shall be responsible for shipping the sculptural elements of the Work to the <br />City. <br />10. City will be responsible for installation of the sculptural elements. <br />11. Contractor shall be responsible for overseeing installation of sculptural elements of the <br />Work. <br />12. Per form supplied by City, Contractor shall supply photographic documentation of the <br />sculptural elements of the Work and written instructions for short and long term <br />maintenance of the Work. <br />13. City will be responsible for securing all approvals and permits necessary for construction <br />and installation of the Work. <br />14. City will reasonably maintain and protect the Work against the ravages of time, <br />vandalism and the elements. Reasonable maintenance of the sculptural elements of the <br />
