(c) The minimum aggregate base depth shall be 6 inches of 3/4"-0 aggregate for any new <br />improvement, and compacted to a reasonable density by use of mechanical means. <br />(d) Maximum slope shall be 20 percent. <br />2.H.5 Plans and Drawings. <br />Applications for a TSP shall be accompanied by such drawings, surveys or plans as deemed <br />necessary by the City Engineer. See EC 7.305. <br />Generally, the permittee will be required to supply 2 sets of complete and accurate plans and/or <br />drawings depicting the proposed facility installation. Three copies will be made to allow 1 for the <br />Inspector, the office file of the permittee and the permittee's field crew performing the work. <br />All plans and/or drawings, including tree preservation plans, shall, at a minimum, contain the <br />following elements: <br />• North arrow; and, <br />• Reference to work area by accurate dimensions to a known intersection center-point, lot <br />corner, or to a known City manhole if an intersection center-point is not available; and, <br />• Appropriate scale, both vertically and horizontally, and designating with accurate dimensions <br />the portion of the public way proposed to be used; and, <br />• Identification of the "work zone" (considered to be 10 feet at a minimum around the <br />perimeter of the proposed excavation or facility placement) and including staging and <br />material storage areas within the public way; and, <br />• Accurate location of curbs, sidewalks, and driveways within the proposed work zone. <br />Additional details and/or information may be required on any plan that is deemed insufficiently clear <br />or inaccurate by City staff. <br />If the critical root zone of a tree is located within the proposed work zone, the applicant shall so <br />indicate on the TSP application, and the plans shall accurately depictthe areas of the work zone that <br />may impact trees, along with the size, location, and species of each tree within such areas. The <br />critical root zone is the area surrounding a tree trunk having a radius of 18 inches times the diameter <br />breast height of the tree trunk. <br />If the work zone or portions thereof are outside the public right-of--way but within a public utility <br />easement, the plans shall show any locations where the work zone falls within or directly adjacent <br />to natural resource protection areas (e.g. wetlands, rare plant areas, conservation zones, individual <br />trees designated for protection, etc.). <br />2.H.6 Abutting Property Owner Notification. <br />Utility & R/W Permit Manual <br />Exhibit A - 24 <br />C:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet Files\OLKB202\03rowrlexa.wpd -Manual (03ROWR~1).WPD(11/07/03) <br />
